Richard Childress Teams with Speedway Children's Charities
For Ride of a Lifetime, Oct. 17, at Lowe's Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. (October 7, 2009) - One lucky fan will take a lap around Lowe's Motor Speedway with NASCAR team owner Richard Childress as he joins Speedway Children's Charities for the Ride of a Lifetime during pre-race festivities at the Oct. 17, NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America.

The winning bidder of an online auction will ride in a parade lap vehicle during driver introductions for the only Saturday night race in the Chase. Prior to the ride along, the winner and a guest will receive a pit tour and two V.I.P. passes to the Richard Childress Racing condominium in Turn 1 to enjoy an outstanding view of Lowe's Motor Speedway under the lights for the fifth race in NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup. Proceeds from the auction will benefit The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma and Speedway Children's Charities.

The Childress Institute's mission is to significantly improve survival rates of children nationwide who suffer serious injuries and reduce the lifelong impact of traumatic injuries in children.
